Plastering, Spray & Roller Solutions
Benefits of Spray Plaster – Saves time, virtually mess-free, easy to clean and maintain, very high-quality finish & high durability
Airless spray plaster is a pre-mixed spray-applied coating that is floated and then near finished with a spatula. Once it is dry, it is sanded to a flat and smooth finish.
The plaster has low water content and therefore dries rather than setting. It can then be sanded and painted the following day.
- This dramatically reduced the time it takes to plaster vs. other methods
- It is also virtually mess-free, leaving you to quickly access the room once work has been completed
- It cleans easily with soapy water and leaves no marks.
- The quality of the finish is excellent and is higher than even the best multi-finish plastering processes
- It is more durable and once painted, the surface dries harder than multi- finish plastering processes
- Moreover, it can flawlessly be repaired, should it become damaged
What’s the Spray Plastering process?
- Prep
- First coat
- Drying time is usually a few hours
- Second coat (which is dry the next day)
- Light sand with dustless sanding equipment, that produces a superior flatter finish
- Paint
Applying paint by sprayer (Airless or HVLP) allows us to deliver a higher level of finish on woodwork, walls, and ceilings. This helps to deliver a flawless brush and roller mark-free finish. Even when we brush and roll the last coat on walls, the finish is still finer than if it was fully brushed and rolled.
Spray Painting – a flawless finish
- No brush and roller lines
- Water-based paints that do not smell or yellow with time
- Faster drying times
